Chrissie Douglas, the designer behind the flourishing international pearl jewellery brand Coleman Douglas Pearls, is acknowledged as the leading authority in the field of pearls. Lucia Van der Post crowned her the ‘Pearl Queen’ in the Financial Times ‘How to Spend It’ magazine. Chrissie’s innovative use of pearls with diamonds, semi-precious stones, leather, wood and feathers resulted in her appointment as a named designer for “Iridesse” founded by Tiffany & Co.
Coleman Douglas Pearl designs are worn by royalty, celebrities and are regularly featured in fashion magazines globally. Chrissie creates bespoke designs and 4 collections a year which challenge the ultra-classic perception of pearls. Her cutting-edge collections have won numerous design awards worldwide, she enjoys travelling and having covered the Far East, she can now be found enjoying the delights of Tuscany when she is not at her pearl atelier in Knightsbridge, London.
