As one of the most celebrated events on the automotive calendar, The London Motor Show is no stranger to big-name exhibitors.

Staged at Battersea Evolution, Battersea Park, The London Motor Show was first held in May 2016. With a progressive and exciting format, the event is designed to appeal across the board to a wide range of motoring visitors and enthusiasts. The second show will take place from 4th to 7th May 2017.

Its inaugural showing in 2016 saw celebrity guests, former motorsport icons and some of the most lauded manufacturers in the business head to Battersea Park, and 2017’s edition promises to be even bigger and better than before.

But there’s one particular exhibitor in attendance that’s looking to hog The London Motor Show 2017 limelight over all the rest by displaying a whole host of the most desirable models in the world: H.R. Owen.

The world’s leading luxury dealer group deals with some of the globe’s most sought-after premium car brands – Bugatti, Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin, Bentley, Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini and BAC.

And it’s safe to say that it’s pulling out all the stops to ensure its display in London lives long in the memory of British car enthusiasts and beyond.

From the single-seat BAC Mono to the brand-new Maserati Levante SUV, the H.R. Owen stand is where to see the latest supercars. Both cars will be making their UK motor show debuts and will grab plenty of attention, especially the former – which is a very rare sight in the capital.

BAC Mono

The Mono is one of the most exciting and celebrated supercars in the world and something of a bespoke icon. Every aspect of the single-seater, road-legal Mono is tailored to the requirements of the driver, including a made-to-measure steering wheel and seat.

But it’s the car’s pace and accessibility that make it truly stand out from the crowd. As well as being able to rocket from 0-60mph in 2.7 seconds, the Mono’s agile handling have earned it plaudits all over the world.

It’s scarcely been seen in London before, so London Motor Show attendees will be in for a real treat.

Alongside the BAC Mono, Battersea Park will be home to over 150 brand new cars from 4-7 May 2017, including the likes of the Alpine A110, Liberty Walk’s stunning McLaren 650S and the latest and greatest from Porsche Centre West London.

That’s all credit to The London Motor Show being such a high-profile exhibition, as it’s able to give its tens of thousands of guests exactly what they want in an iconic setting.

Also taking centre stage in Battersea Park will be the new Lamborghini Aventador S. Fresh from a show-stopping world debut at the Geneva Motor Show, the Aventador S is a more powerful and focused version of the venerable Aventador that’s packing a whopping 730bhp – 40bhp more than its sibling.

It has a more aggressive front bumper than before and is sure to demand plenty of attention at the show. The car will be provided by Lamborghini London, which recently celebrated being crowned the brand’s most successful dealership in 2016, and in the Aventador S it will be displaying the most potent member of its fleet.

The award-winning Ferrari London dealership in South Kensington – voted the best Ferrari retailer in the world – will be showcasing the new GTC4 Lusso, Ferrari’s four seat, four-wheel-drive thoroughbred.

A facelift of the five-year-old Ferrari FF, the GTC4 is a genuine four-seater that still carries all of the drama and sense of occasion that only comes with a Ferrari. With sweeping lines and an aerodynamic figure, the GTC4 cuts an imposing figure and one that will turn plenty of heads.

As well as the most ferocious and exciting fast cars in the world, a dose of luxury will also be added to The London Motor Show in the form of a stunning model from Rolls-Royce.

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars London showroom, the UK’s number one Rolls-Royce dealer, will be showcasing the stunning, performance-focused Wraith Black Badge; giving you a chance to see the new ‘alter-ego’ from the Rolls-Royce design studio.

The most powerful Rolls-Royce ever, the Wraith Black Badge is an intoxicating and more menacing version of the coupé that continues to ooze opulence.

How the Wraith Black Badge differs from the standard Wraith includes the iconic Spirit of Ecstasy bonnet ornament, which mutates into a high-gloss black vamp. The badging and chrome detailing are also transformed with a new, darker shade.

The London Motor Show is rolling out several luxury touches to ensure the event continues to live up to its big billing, and one lucky guest will be able to enjoy all of these cars behind the scenes if they are lucky enough to be drawn as the London Motor Show Golden Ticket winner.

The chosen attendee and a guest will be collected from anywhere within London in a chauffeur-driven luxury car and whisked to the show in style. Once there, the winner will be met by a representative of The London Motor Show who will provide a personal guided tour of the show.

The Golden Ticket holder will have a day to remember with unrivalled access to all of the star cars and fast-track entry to attractions and lunch will be provided at the mezzanine café. Anyone who buys, or has already bought, a ticket will be automatically entered into the competition.

H.R. Owen will be putting two of its newest additions fresh into the limelight at The London Motor Show, too – the Bentley Bentayga and the Maserati Levante SUVs.

H.R. Owen’s world-famous Bentley dealership Jack Barclay Bentley will be displaying Bentley’s newest SUV, the seven-seat Bentayga. The famous Mayfair showroom is celebrating 90 years in business in 2017 and also saw record sales performances in 2016.

Concluding the stellar line up is Maserati’s first ever SUV, the Levante. New models and a dedicated sales team saw the Maserati showroom in South Kensington register a record number of cars in 2016, and the stylish Levante will have a big presence at Battersea Park.

Alec Mumford, Chairman of The London Motor Show, said: “The inaugural show exceeded our expectations. With sell-out crowds over the weekend and numerous orders taken for key models, it was a success for both ourselves as organisers and our exhibitors. We are very much looking forward to welcoming new and returning visitors to Battersea Park in May and are sure the 2017 event will build on a great first year.

“Having such a stellar line-up of models at the show will only enhance our reputation in the industry and give our guests a fantastic experience across the weekend.”

The London Motor Show is only in its second year of operation, but it’s proving its worth as one of the most exciting events on the automotive calendar.
